Last Thursday we won Districts for the first time (hard to believe in 30 years Liberty has never won a district championship!)   The scores are shown below.  Sectionals was this past weekend, we won our first game and lost in the finals to make it to state.  The scores are also shown below!

Bio: April Rolf has been with the Blue Jay Volleyball Program for five years. Coming to the district in 2004 Rolf served as the assistant coach for two years and in 2006 took over the program as head coach. Originally from Alma, Missouri, Rolf attended Northwest Missouri State University. While there, she was a four year volleyball letter winner for the Bearcats as well as assistant coach for one year.

Rolf currently teaches 6th and 7th Grade Physical Education at Liberty Middle School. She currently resides in Kansas City, Missouri.

A Kansas City native, Eric Leone is back for his fifth year with the volleyball program, third year as the varsity assistant coach. Leone played four years at Graceland University and teaches 6th and 7th grade physical education at Liberty Middle School. This is his 5th year teaching in the Liberty School district.

Bio: Erica Austin has been with the Blue Jays for four years, one year as the 8th grade coach and three years as head Junior Varsity coach. Erica is originally from Vicksburg, Michigan. She came from Michigan to play volleyball at UMKC, where she was a four year letter winner. She continued to stay at UMKC as the assisstant volleyball coach. Following her coaching at UMKC, Erica moved to Liberty where she teaches 6th grade Health and 7th grade Physical Education at Liberty Middle School.

Bio: Amanda Renfro is back for the seventh year with the Lady Blue Jays. Renfro is originally from Harvard, NE and graduated college from the University of Nebraska Kearney. While attending UNK she coached the sophomore volleyball program for three years at Kearney High School. This is her 9th year teaching in the Liberty School District and teaches Family and Consumer Science at Liberty Middle School.
