The terrific Varsity softball season came to a disappointing end last night when the Jays dropped a 1-0 decision to Kearney in the bottom of the 7th inning in the District Championship game. Chelsea Ross had 16 strikeouts and only gave up 2 infield hits, but the Jays only offense was Hillary Harmon’s triple and single. It was a pitcher’s duel to say the least.
