7:30-7:40              3 point contest (2 girls vs 2 boys)
7:40-8:00              Girls game #2
8:00-8:20              Boys game #3 (Var)
 
8:20-                      Fans: $1 shot for hoops t-shirt
 
3 pt contest:         4 rounds of 1 minute each  (4 boys vs 4 girls)
                               Each shooter will shoot for 1 min (1 basketball)
                               Scorekeeper will sum up the score for each team

Fall Sports News

Volleyball

Last Thursday we won Districts for the first time (hard to believe in 30 years Liberty has never won a district championship!)   The scores are shown below.  Sectionals was this past weekend, we won our first game and lost in the finals to make it to state.  The scores are also shown below! 

Districts

St. Jo Central- W (25-11) (25-16)
Oak Park- W (25-15) (25-19)
Park Hill South- W (25-13) (25-23)
 
Sectionals
Truman- W (20-25) (25-18)(25-18)
Blue Springs (Finals)- L (27-25) (10-25)

Women's Tennis:

Congratulations to Leslee Feldhaus and Abby Fish for finishing in 3rd Place at the Missouri State Doubles Championships held in Springfield, Missouri on October 23rd and 24th.  Both players also earned First Team All-State Honors for their 3rd Place Finish.  Leslee and Abby finished the season with at 21-6 doubles record.
 
Congratulations to all of the Lady Jay Tennis players on a great season.  The team finished with at 10-2 record and the following accomplishments:
6th Consecutive Undefeated Conference Championship
4th Consecutive District Championship
Missouri State Playoffs Team Regional Winners

WINTER WEATHER INFORMATION

During the winter, inclement weather will sometimes force the district to cancel school and school-related activities.  Through our various communications tools, we will try to keep you up-to-date.  It is important you do not rely solely on one form of communication to receive your information.  Please note:  The district is no longer using an automated phone message system to alert parents of school closings.  We have established QuickText, a new mobile text messaging system.  In order to receive up-to-date information via your mobile device, you must sign up for the service (link is below). 

For your convenience, we have established a number of other tools to keep you informed when school closings, canceled activities, or emergencies happen.
